Hello! I will start my story by introducing myself:
I am a 14 year old boy in the woods of North Carolina. Me and my family are here for a vacation with some of my friends at camp, which is called Greenlake in Boston, Massachuttes. My story is about my adventure with my friends at the woodland park in North Carolina.

One day I was just about ready to wake up as I heard my sister shouting: "Mom! Mom! Tom! Tom! Come look at this! It's the first snowfall of the winter! I came running {though still drowsy!} to join in the excitement. This was because my family and I hardly ever got to see any snow.

After a while I told my parents I'm going to go out to the woods with Cory, David, Nicholas, Kyle, Erik, Jeff and his other twin Jeff, Jared and Matthew.

As we were going down there we suddenly heard a shriek from David, "Aaaaaaaaaaaah!" he shrieked. We saw him stare pleadingly at a huge, furry and large...Grizzly Bear!

Cory let out a sob as if to state that it was the end of the world, Nick {Nicholas} gasped for breath, Kyle took a step backward and then stopped as if the Grizzly had put a freeze ray on him. Erik screamed and the twins closed their eyes and prayed in the softest whisper they could manage. But Jared immediately fell to his knees, and to my surprise acted as if he didn't even notice the 15-foot monster in front of him, to help Matthew who seemed to have fainted! I tried to take quick action but thought the better of it. For a moment I tried to think of something but couldn't because of the fear of what might happen!

I hesitated, then as if someone had given me a sudden boost of energy I needed to give out orders, " Cory, David, Nick, Kyle, Jeff and Jeff, Jared, and Matthew (somehow even he had managed to get up) give the big monster a slip in the snow", then I added in a whisper looking at their dazzled faces, "Just slip behind a tree and bury yourselves in the snow, I know it's dumb and idiotic but we gotta' risk it! GO!"

They did what I said and so did I. As if the Grizzly had also realized what was happening {high time!} he charged forward.

I knew he couldn't see us and I gave a hoarse sigh of relief.

After what seemed like ages the Grizzly started to move to the place he started, then it struck me... this had been the hunting ground of the Grizzly! And to him we were trespassers. And didn't I always know that Grizzly's didn't like visitors! We started back home when a brain chilling hiss of a snake followed us. We looked around to find a large Rattle Snake!

It slowly started forward and once more I gave orders, but this time to run! As I had taken lessons at camp Greenlake on how to settle snakes down. I remained still, though dazzled, and tried not to stare at the snake...not to stare...not to stare...and exactly what I predicted happened! It tried to sting me in the hand but I quickly ran in a zigzag pattern because snaked cannot run or slither fast in a zigzag pattern.

I ran to the spot where my friends were staring unbelievingly at what I had done.

Then as if by magic a cold and scary voice spoke:" Hello Boys!"

We ran and he ran too but the hooded cloak the man was wearing got stuck in a tree then it revealed it's secret...DAD!

"DAD, UNCLE!" we bellowed in a chorus.

"After all that we just went through why I in the world did you try to scare us?!" I asked in an extremely agitated tone.

"Well boys I was just trying to see whether or not you have the courage to face one more challenge I put -

But he couldn't finish because we finished it for him, "up!" "You mean you put those things there?" Jared asked, his eyes wide and staring in disbelief.

"Yes." He said in a highly amused tone. "How?"

Well I took my electronic equipment and made motorized stuff!

"Ingenious!" shouted Kyle.

Oh well you boys must be tired let's go in for some warm hot chocolate and warm and cozy beds!

And this was the end of the story of The Jungle Book!
