Shahnaz's Answers to your Queries:

Q 1: I have some pimple marks on my face and my skin is normal. Can you please tell me a solution for removing these marks because they look really bad.

apeksha jain

Shahnaz Answers: If you do not have pimples now, you can try the following routine. After cleansing, mix Shagrain with Sharose and rub the mixture gently on the areas with marks. Wash off with water. Do this two or three times a week. Then apply your moisturiser.

If the marks are dark in colour, apply Shafair in the evening. Do not expose the skin to the sun after applying Shafair.

At night, after cleansing, apply Shablem on the areas with marks by rubbing it into the skin and leaving it on overnight.

Two or three times a week, apply Shamask 1 on the entire face and wash it off when it dries.

Q 2: I have bags under the eyes and fine wrinkles around the eyes (no dark circles) Can you give me a few tips for what kind of eye makeup I should do.

Sangeeta Mathur

Shahnaz Answers: Bags are difficult to cover up with make-up. Applying cosmetics around eyes with bags causes further puffiness. Firstly, you should consult a doctor to determine the cause of your eye bags. Sometimes, they can be the result of water retention in the system. If that is the case, the doctor's advice, along with a few changes in your lifestyle, may help to reduce puffiness. Applying potato juice around the eyes and washing it off after 10 minutes is said to reduce puffiness. For make-up, take a water-based foundation which is a shade or two darker than your normal foundation. Add a drop of water, to make it lighter in consistency. Then apply it under the eyes. If there is a dark line below the eye bags, a lighter coloured foundation/concealer may be used on the line. Line the upper lids with eyeliner, but avoid lining the lower lids. This may help to make the bags less apparent.

Q 3: Im 20 years old and I'm from England. I have a dark complexion but its not that dark, but brown. i wanted to know how i can get my complexion to become lighter with out it affecting my skin and causing acne. I have acne too wich are leaving dark blemishes on my skin. I really dont know what to do. Im not sure about my skin type but i think its oily. Can u please help me shahnaz auntie, i dont know what to do. How can i get a fairer complexion without having to get acne.thank you very much

Shahidah

Shahnaz Answers: You should control the acne condition before it spreads and causes extensive scarring. Yes, your skin must be oily, because acne usually occurs on oily skin. You should use a medicated cleanser twice a day and wipe your skin with a rose-based skin tonic. We recommend Shazema and Sharose. At night, after cleansing, apply Shaclear anti-acne lotion only on the eruptions. Apply Shablem on the dark blemishes by rubbing it into the skin and leaving on overnight. You can apply yogurt on the entire face daily and wash it off after 20 minutes. This will help your complexion and the acne condition.

Q 4: I need help finding a good face mask for my skin. I am 33 year old. I have no pimples and no open pores. I have dull complexion. could it mean I have dead skin? Pls tell me names of face masks and how to use it. Do you sell directly and ship to the US?

Sudha

Shahnaz Answers: You can use Shamask 1 two or three times a week. If the skin is dry, use Shayouth face mask. Apart from a mask, you should use a cleanser according to skin type. Use Sharose to tone the skin. The Gold Skin Radiance Gel and Gold mask may also help you. You can order the products online from www.shahnaz-husain.com
