You And Me
By- The Amateur

In silence I follow
every part of your body
and see the spirit
which unites with mine.

I feel your body
with my eyes
without a touch
of my hand
with the fear
that the slightest
of the touch
will break the only
illusion i have.

Or I might feel
too possesive
to let go of you
I hate myself for
I love you so.

Once the threshold is crossed
I wont stop.
I can die for you
and will die for you,
but dont ever ask me
to live for you.

For I am scared
that if you arent
so powerful and so fierce
about your love
as me,
I might break
and might not rise again.

I am scared to ask
if you can match
my passion for you
my madness
my fierce possesiveness
my love
my hunger
my raw spirit?

I am scared to ask that
if you will last with me ?
will you hold me
as tight as I will
and never let go of me
as I wont.

and will you stand
and break down with me,
if the mindless mob
charges in?
for I wont compromise
on you
and I deeply hope
you will never on me.
