The Most Memorable Trip To Nepal
- By- Leo Rakhee Ahuja I am a Management student from Mumbai and a member of Leo Club, the youth wing of Lions clubs International.

I belong to Leo district 323 A2 wherein there are 22 Leo Clubs and more than 500 Leos, engaged in activities such as Blood Donation Camp, Organizing Seminars in colleges, Donation of food grains to needy people, Diabetes Check-up camp, Tree Plantation etc.
|
|
Leo club also undertake Youth Exchange Programme on International level. We, Leos of District 323 A2, received an invitation from Nepal District 325 A and 325 B to visit their Kingdom. We whole-heartedly accepted their invitation and 13 Leos from India Visited Himalayan kingdom, Nepal from 30th April 2004 to 12th May 2004.

During this tour, we Leos of India and Nepal had great time with each other and we all shared a good bonding between all of us. I wrote the poem below for all the Leo friends in India and Nepal and special dedication to two buddies, Leo Pinali Mehta, as Leo Pinali acted as my Mom there and took good care of me which made me feel so close to her and &
Leo Jignesh Mehta, as Leo Jignesh is the person behind the great success of the trip.

Even though I am not a good poet I could write this poem for these two special people in my life, So you can easily understand that the feelings are right from the heart and so mistakes should be ignored. I thank them people for making my trip so special:

Don’t know when it happened
But it all happened in this trip
We became so close to each other
That we don’t get affected by any weather
I don’t know how it happened
But it all happened in this trip
We feel so close, anything to share
That parting is very very difficult to bear.
I don’t know why it happened

We still have sweet memories to gain
Which I m sure, will forever remain.
