To test how much she is loved, a girl asked his lover to bring his mother's heart. The boy, crazy in love, rushed to fulfill the girl's wish. While coming back with his mother's heart in hand, something came in his way and he fell down .A voice came from the heart of his mother "Son. I hope you are not hurt".

I don't remember when and where I read this story but I still remember it or it might be possible that some events in present reminded me of this story.

It was really strange. A boy (the only offspring) shot down his parents on their non acceptance to marry him off to a girl of his choice. The father died on the spot. He was shot from a very close range. His mother was in kitchen. She came out on hearing the gun shot. The boy shot five bullets into his mother's body. His mother kept saying. "Why are you shooting me? I always pray for your long life". The boy lifted his mother and put her in the bed. He cleaned the blood from the floor, did his breakfast and locked the house and left.

The neighbors on hearing the noise came to ask what happened when the boy was leaving the house. He told them that there is nothing to worry about. It was noise of a movie, which was being watched in his house. The neighbors not satisfied with the answer broke into the house after the boy left. The boy's father was dead. But the mother was still alive. They immediately took her to the hospital. She was rescued. She was not told that his husband died. The mother on query by the police told them that it was their personal matter and they will solve it their selves. They don't need to register any case. When she was told that it was a murder case. She became dumbfounded. What could have she said? His husband was murdered and now if his son goes to the jail then where will she go.

The boy was however arrested. The case has not been brought to the court yet. The mother wants his son's acquittal from the case. But she is also afraid to live with him. The boy is still firm on his previous decision. People say that he is not ashamed on whatever he has done.

Of all the stories I have heard this is only one of its kind. Though I read it long time ago but I still hear the voice, "son. I hope you are not hurt". It is strange how the world has changed. But the mother? No perhaps she has not been changed.
