It rises from its ashes to fly again
The legendary bird is named Phoenix
Once I also lay completely burned,
My spirits lying by my side
My future reduced to complete ashes
Time was the fire which, burnt me alive
I reduced to ashes finer than dust,
Could be scattered anywhere, anytime.
But the rains of fate were kind to me
They cooled down the fires of time
When my spirits gasped for breath
Then I knew I was not dead
Soon winds of hope meet my spirit
Hope said, "I will give you life
Only if you show the will to rise"
Hope and will, working together
Breathed live in a lifeless future
But alone they could not make it fly.
Than courage and strength were called upon
They said the going would be very tough
If luck helped they were willing to try,
When everyone tried, I realized I could rise
Soon I was ready to fly mighty and high.
Like the Phoenix, we too can arise again to fly.
