Q 1: Hi Shahnaz ji,
I am mailing to u through a friend. I have recently got my hair streaked golden (majirel number 7.4). Now I want to know about the post colour care and am also worried whether this would speed up greying. I am just 25 and don't want greys now. And above all, when will I get my original hair color back? In case I use henna, what precautions should I take?

Tanya Singh

Shahnaz Answers: In order to streak your hair golden, the hair must have been bleached. Therefore, you will have to wait for your hair to grow out, to get back your original colour. On gold hair, if you apply henna, the colour will not be so natural or attractive. In any case, if and when you use henna, you should take care to buy good quality henna. Take about 2 cups of henna (the quantity actually depends on the length of your hair) and mix with it 4 teaspoons each of lemon juice and coffee, 2 raw eggs and tea-water or amla water. Tea water can be made by boiling used tea leaves again, cooling the water and straining it. The water may be mixed with the rest of the henna ingredients. Amla water is made by soaking dry amla overnight in 2 cups of water overnight. Next day, strain the water and keep it. Grind the soaked amla. Mix the amla with the henna and use the water to mix the henna and other ingredients into a thick paste. Amla is said to check greying.

Q 2: Hi Shahnazji
I am 28 year old and I have stretch marks allover my stomach as well as legs. It is very sever and looks ugly what can I do to get back my normal skin back! Please advice.

Natasha

Shahnaz Answers: Stretchmarks usually form when there is weight loss after weight gain. They are difficult to remove, but can be minimized by applying Shadew. This should be massaged on the areas before bathing. You can also apply Shamask 2, which is a body mask. This is to be applied and then washed off when dry.

Q 3: Hello. I would like to know where in london, england, uk i can buy your products. preferably central or east london. also i would like to know what the shelf life of your products is. how soon after manufacturing your products do they get disptached to stores? and how do you ensure that the people that stock them in shops etc do not sell a product many years after they bought it from you. Do they have an expiry date on the products? please answer me in person if you can. thankyou

Bushra Raja

Shahnaz Answers: We have distributors in London. You can log on to www.aviaherbals.com for information on availability of products in London. The shelf life for herbal products is 3 years from the date of manufacture, which is mentioned on the labels.

Q 4: Have got this mail id after doing lots of R&D on Internet. Need to discuss my hair problem - I have got dry and damaged hair, no shine, dull, life less, hair growth almost stopped & I have split ends.
I have been facing this problem for quite some time. Please suggest me good remedy & method & your prodcuts that can be of benefit.

Ambuj

Shahnaz Answers: Split ends should be cut off first. Then give your hair hot oil treatments. Heat pure coconut oil and apply on the scalp and hair. Then dip a towel in hot water, wring out the water and wrap the hot towel around the head like a turban. Repeat the hot towel wrap 3 or 4 times. This helps the absorption of oil. Weekly henna treatments will also be good. Use a mild herbal shampoo. Use less shampoo and rinse well with water. Avoid hair dryers, dyes and colourants. Apply Shatone daily on the scalp and leave on. Diet and nutrition are extremely important for healthy hair. Include sprouts in your daily diet and ask your doctor to prescribe vitamin and mineral supplements.

Q 5: I wish to switch to your products for my complete skin, hair and body care. But I dont know which products will suit me.Let me tell u about me...I'm 21, female. My weight is ok. I have wheatish complexion.

Skin:- dry to normal. A little sensitive. But get 1-2 pimples weekly which maybe red or sometimes with pus. Have some blackheads on nose and sometimes also get on lower cheeks and chin. Have red and brown blemishes. Have facial hair like everyone.
I wish to clear up my skin and have a radiance and glow. Can I use gold, pearl, oxygen products? I wish to get the luminosity that your skin have. will I get that?

Hair:- medium thick, wavy, black, dry and fine. mediumly soft. have some split ends. have flakes of dandruff on some parts. hair fall is ok but didnt fall this much earlier...actually my hair was very thick, shiny and healthier earlier. But lost by using salt water. Now the water problem is solved but my hair problem persists.

Body:- My body skin is naurally soft. But my underarms are dark and I have stretch marks on my back. also the skin on my lower leg is a little dry. How can I remove my body hair? Can I shave all over? Is it bad for skin? How can I make my face and body fairer? Also I had colored my hair few weeks ago. Can I color hair now using your product?
Please give me a complete beauty regime by your products.
Thanking you,
with love & prayers,

Naaz Henan

Shahnaz Answers: Before external care, why not take a look at your diet and lifestyle? Include fresh fruits, raw salads, sprouts and unsweetened yogurt in your daily diet. After consulting your doctor, take some daily exercise. Yoga is good. Include deep breathing exercises. Your skin type seems to be of a combination skin. Cleanse morning and night with Shamoon cleanser. Wipe your skin with Sharose, using cotton wool. Mix Shagrain with Sharose and apply on areas with blackheads (but not on pimples). Rub gently and wash off with water. Use a sunscreen lotion before going out in the sun. At night, after cleansing, apply a little Shalife on the dry areas and massage it on the skin with a few drops of water. Wipe off with moist cotton wool. If there are pimples, apply Shaclear only on the pimples and leave on overnight. Home Pack will help you. The Oxygen cream and mask will also suit your skin type. You can use Fair One, to lighten skin colour.

For your hair, apply Shatone daily at night on the scalp, using cotton wool. Leave it on overnight. It is non-oily. The split ends should be cut off. Give your hair weekly oil treatments after heating pure coconut oil. Apply on scalp and hair and leave on overnight. Weekly henna treatments will help to add body and strengthen the hair. Use a mild herbal shampoo. Include fresh fruits, raw salads, sprouts and plain yogurt in your daily diet. If you colour your hair, there is bound to be some hair damage, in terms of dry hair, split ends and even hair loss. We have herbal hair mascara. This can be used to streak the hair. The effect lasts till the next shampoo. It can be effectively used to disguise a few gray hair.

Shaving for removal of hair, including underarm hair, may darken the skin colour. Waxing is best for removal of hair from the arms, legs and under the arms. You can have it done at a good beauty salon. Waxing is said to lessen hair growth after a period of time. For stretchmarks, you can massage Shadew before your bath. The use of Shamask 2, a body mask, may help to minimize stretchmarks. As a home remedy, you can mix besan (gram flour) with yogurt, adding a pinch of haldi (turmeric). Apply this on the body - arms, legs and stretch marks - about 20 minutes before your bath. For dryness on the legs, apply Shadew.
