During interrogation with Hertfordshire Police, while Big Brother bosses refused to hand over the "dodgy" clips that claim winner Shilpa Shetty was called a "Paki" on the show, after denying they exist, an executive of the programme has claimed the evidence exists.

A Channel 4 spokeswoman said: “The producers have checked the editorial log and assured us there is no evidence of the word alleged in the note ever being used by any of the housemates.”

But an anonymous tipster has gone to cops with a note that reads: “Some dodgy clips DO exist. We are [Bleep]ed,” and was quizzed for 90 minutes, reports The Sun.

“Big Brother staff write notes to each other on running orders and suchlike when in the galleries or editing suites, or anywhere they have to keep quiet. So it’s an important document and one the police are taking very seriously. If those clips do exist the programme makers would have hell to pay,” a source told the paper.

The evidence alleges that Celebrity BB winner Shilpa was called a “[bleep]ing Paki” in one incident, and it tells how a song was sung, with the words: “This house used to be happy, until that [bleep]ing —”.

Jade Goody was said to be present when it was sung. The note was scribbled on the back of a production schedule for the episode of BBLB. It was discovered ripped up at the Elstree studios, Herts.

The identity of the author is not known, but it is believed to be a senior employee at Big Brother makers Endemol.

Jade, Danielle Lloyd and Jo O’Meara were accused during the show of making racist comments against Shilpa.

Last night Hertfordshire Police confirmed they had been handed “some further information which we will be looking into as part of our ongoing investigation”.(ANI)
