This young budding journalist was a happy go lucky girl, studying in Delhi for her Bachelors in English Literature from Delhi University. Ever since her school days, she was a human rights activist, although the hues were different. She ended up being the house captain and discipline incharge too. In college, her involvement in cultural activities made her the member of culture committee, and she was involved in a few students rights agitations too. After her grad, she moved over to Lucknow and is now a journalist with a leading national English newspaper from the past 4 years.
Live for today, for yesterday has gone and tomorrow still has to come. With this motto in life, this young journalist gets going everyday. A through bred Delhite, a true gemini to the soul, she loves meeting people and issues related to the underprivileged, women and children touch her the most. a budding development journalist, Tarannum loves writing about the feat achieved by her key areas, and can go anywhere to do that, with nothing stopping her. She is also an avid traveller, and a prize winner lenswoman too. (She won the Delhi Tourism award for amatuer photographers). At SAWF, she keeps the readers updated with happenings in development and gender areas in India (focusing on the rural belt) with her broadcast 'From Ground Zero'.

Sandhya, is doing MBA in the University of Notre Dame, USA. Reading, writing and music are her passions. She has studied German and is quite conversant with the language. She explains her view of life with - "My friends call me Dream Girl, not because I look like one (As you can see I am hardly a looker), but because I dream a lot. I believe that dreams sustain your today and build your tomorrow." As is evident, besides being talented Sandhya is also modest!
