Could you please provide answers to my following questions?
1. Before I use the iron, I apply coconut oil to my hair and massage for 15 - 20 mins, leave it for an hour and wash with a mild shampoo and conditioner. I do not blow dry my hair but let it dry naturally. After it is dry, I use CHI Iron guard on my hair and then straighten it with a low heat setting. I would like to know if the procedure I follow is correct.
2. Also I have noticed a small scratch on one of the plates of the iron. Should I get a new one? I have used this less than 10 times so far.
I would really appreciate it you could give me some hair care tips as well.
