Mine has been a never ending problem. I have dark circles. And it shows promtly whenever I remove my glasses. I think it is heridetry as my mom also has it. I have tried all the possible creams in the market. But nothing works. Please let me know whether I could undergo any treatment or you have any suggestions for me, it will be great. Of late people have started making fun of me when I remove my glasses which hurts. Please help!

Margeaux comments : I have heard from several friends in America that the use of hemorrhoidal ointment which contains shark oil and a skin decongestant (phenylephrine) can be used under the eye area to reduce swelling and moisturize the skin. I have no information about the effect of this product on dark circles however. My mother used to use witch-hazel compresses for tired eyes. I've heard about cucumber slices before, but never about sliced or gound raw potato. I wonder if potato water left over after boiling would be beneficial: it could be stored in a vessel in a refrigerator for several uses. If any of the readers have experience with this, please let me know. I thank you.
