Return to the article Mohd Khalid Qureshi comments : THE ANALYSIS Of France’s President Nicolas Sarkozy’s Statement Against BURQUA What president of France Nicolas Sarkozy stated about the Muslim ladies’ outfit “BURQA” in the parliament of France on 10th of June 2009, needs to be examined minutely. Except Sarkozy’s recent statement a group of members of parliament, having the same thoughts had been speaking against Burqua. That’s the reason, just the next day of Sarkozy’s statement, the parliament of France formed an all group commission which will make a detailed examination on Burqua and present its report before the parliament within six months. The commission gives its decision in favour of Burqua or comes out against that, it will be disclosed only after six months, however it is hoped that the commission will intercede to impose the ban on the Burqua. That makes a difference, on the pressure of France’s public and the Muslim world; the commission could not make courage so and if it does, may be France’s parliament does not put a ban on Burqua for some tactics. Anyway! That all will be known after six months. The naked photographs of the first lady of France are seen by the entire world, so what’s strange! if the first gent of France and its parliament stand against the Burqua! But what Sarkozy has said against Burqua is important to be pondered over. Because, listening such of the statements, many people think that, how the heads of such advanced countries could speak a thing which is against the humanity. Is Burqua so bad thing as is being expressed such an abhorrence and ill will against it or it has some good points to be viewed? Sarkozy has indicated towards four points…… 1. BURQUA IS NOT A SIGN OF RELIGION BUT IT IS A SIGN OF SLAVERY. 2. WOMEN ARE LIKE PRISONERS BEHIND THE NET-MADE CLOTHING. 3. THEY ARE CUT OFF THE SOCIETY. 4. THEIR IDENTITY IS HIDDEN. We will make separate arguments on all four points so that we may see what the reality is! 1. BURQUA IS NOT A SIGN OF RELIGION BUT IT IS A SIGN OF SLAVERY, If the president of one of the progressive and civilized _____ as the west claims _____ countries speaks in such a stupid and childish manner, he should think how childish his countries’ public will be speaking? And any country of the world will snatch away the power from France, considering it as a child. Anybody can understand that the specific dress or uniform is the sign of any religion. Then, what it shows, either the slavery or the freedom, doesn’t matter. If Sarkozy has to say, he should speak with clear wordings that not only the dress but the entire teachings of Islam are the sign of slavery. “Don’t drink the liquor, don’t eat the swine, don’t worship the idols, don’t gamble, don’t take the interest, don’t backbite, don’t lie, don’t give short measure, lower your gaze, offer the prayers, keep the fasts, lay your wealth, goods, children and each and everything in the way of Allah, if necessary put at stake your head and soul too.” These teachings in which a man is bounded completely are the signs of slavery, aren’t they? But, here, it is remarkable that this entire slavery is for Allah’s only, not for Sakozy like people. On the contrary the culture of Europe, that claims the freedom and Sarkozy like people have to advocate that, is ………. “Move around being nude, have date with anybody’s wife, have the homosexuality, teach about condoms even to children, open the companies of interest, suck the blood of poor, serve the liquor, destroy homes and families, tell the lie so much and so confidently that people must start believing in it as truth, spread the obscenity so much that there becomes the lump of bastards in the country, say the world that honesty is the best policy! but when the policy starts giving you losses then jump to the dishonesty, love your life so extremely that you may not remember the death, and when death stands before your eyes, then………..? Then, don’t call us! Mind your business and your God will definitely mind his!” The truth is that the man is the slave by birth. No one can get free himself, saying that “ I have freedom so I will be speaking by my ears, and eating by my nose, listening by eyes and watching through mouth, because I am free, so I do whatever I will!” the teachings of Islam tell the same truth that Allah has created the man’s life into two parts. In the first part he is bounded, and in the second one he has been set free for his test and examination. If he submits even the free part of his life in the service of God, that is Islam. Islam has in its meaning “to submit” “to surrender” “to get peace”. And this submission before God is necessary because everybody has to account for his life in the hereafter. And it is the hereafter’s fear only that can give a good citizenship and fine personality to anyone in the society, and by which only the peace and harmony can be obtained in the society. Now everybody should make a decision himself, he likes either the western culture, in which he is free, or the Islamic culture in which he is slave, but Allah’s slave only. Today man has got many destinations of progress; anybody may have some psychological experience himself. If you have time, must do that! A good Muslim who heartily leads his life on the teaching prescribed by Islam, and the one who flies his life, considering himself free from all strings, you’ll find a big difference like sky and of earth between the hearts, souls and personalities of both the men. You will find peace, contentment and confidence on one side, and anxiety, uneasiness, restlessness and fear on the other. That’s why “the lord America” has got nothing but stir in between the rocks of Afghanistan. Hundreds of thousands soldiers of America committed suicides, the picture of cowardliness is so clear that they are scared to face the bullet of their enemy, however death will meet them by enemy's bullet and death catches them by suicide too. Everyone has to decide himself, whether he wants the freedom, being presented by Sarkozy, where there are slaveries on each step _______sometimes the slavery of boss and sir, sometimes of government and administration, sometimes of country and nation, sometimes of idols, sometimes of own desires_______ or the slavery that Islam presents, in which there is One’s slavery only, but on the other hand there is encouragement, peace of mind, the real experience of life and except the slavery of Allah, there is freedom from each and everything, a freedom on which man is not the slave of even the death, and above all, after the death there is salvation and success. 2. WOMEN ARE LIKE PRISONERS BEHIND THE NET-MADE CLOTHINGS. Sarkozy has expressed the concept of freedom in his point number two also. The only difference between the two is, he used the words “religion” and “slavery” in the point number one and he brings the words “net” and “prison” in his point number two. In the point number one, he cunningly introduces the religion “free” from the “slavery” and tries to deliver the massage to the Muslims that “keep you religious but as religious as we are! That means look at our lives! You will not find even a percent religion’s color in our lives nowhere. And if you become the complete religious, you will be slave and nothing. Is this colourless life is life? In which the man shackles himself in a way that man and women could not ever enjoy and entertain together, could not drink some countable drops of liquor, could not gamble once or twice, women could not make the men amorous by exposing their body and beauty. Therefore set free the religion from the shackles of slavery!” And here Sarkozy tells the net-made clothing and prison as same thing. He means the women who properly cover up their entire body and don’t let the eyes uncovered but put a net-made peace of cloth on their eyes too, they are like have been thrown into the jail. If covering the complete body is a prison, then, to cover the some part of the body is also prison. The point that makes difference between the two is, there is cent percent prison there, and here there 70, 40, 20 or at least 5, 2 percent prison is sustained. Then why do Sarkozy and his wife move around France being cent percent free? Nay, why only in France? They should go around the world in the same position! How nice, it will seem, when Sarkozy, Obama, Brown, Harper, Medvedev, Napolitano, Kohler, Aso, and Ban Ki Moon and all heads of those nations, who are enemies of purdah and Burqua, keeping their wives, being cent percent free will meet together in any summit? And such programs of freedom, now and then, are held in Europe and America, but nobody knows, why just after the day, in which it is held, they put themselves behind the bar. Hey Sarkozy! How long will you keep yourself between the devil and the deep sea? First of all decide! What the rules of your lives are! Is there any strong foundation in your ideology or not? Are you either theist or atheist? Do you believe in hereafter or not? To cover the complete body or the half is not a thing, could be considered as prison or the freedom. The truth is that Allah has given the dress to human beings so that he can hide the private parts of his body and it causes embellishment and beauty for him. However, Allah has commanded some principles for the dress; if man makes it own, he can save himself from many evils spread in the society. As far the covering woman’s body, everybody knows that women’s body naturally has been created in a way, if even her lock or bow is spotted, that attracts the man towards her. If each woman of the society moves around, attracting unknown men, obscenity goes up, consequently, in the society, sexual diseases breed, immodesty gets generalized, because of that little boys and girls are abused sexually, homes and families become quarrelsome by that the society demolishes, men become coward and women unchaste and shameless, innocent babies are aborted and those who are not aborted they feel suffocated and chocked in themselves without the identification of their fathers. That’s why Islam has declared the families system as the base of the society’s structure. Except that here the worth mentioning point the desires and the appetites man has, Islam does not teach the celibacy but it teaches the love and affections. Islam inspires the woman to wear the make-up and get ornamented so that she may keeps alive her womanhood and be proud of that but not before the unknown men but in the gathering of the ladies and to make happy her husband. She has been bidden that she must be loyal towards her husband only, should amorously dedicate her beauty, elegance, puberty and so on to her husband but save that all from unknown men. That increases the love and affection between husband and wife; he doesn’t care about the days and the nights for his family to prosper. The wife may make her husband do some big matters in her favor by rolling two tears on her cheeks; sometimes he faces the annoyance of entire society for his wife. On the other hand there are those women who amuse the men in pubs and nightclubs, leave alone the matter of their tear’s effect, even their blood is gushed out into any corner and nobody is there to look at them, if they want to give birth to their bastard child, they are many times forbidden in the society, their own children do not give respect to them, and their daughters but to reach into the unknown men’s arm, then starts the same story which was the story of her mother. The man and the woman, who get settled after marriage, their children live in the society with confidence, have the test of naughtiness, become brave, show the flirts “I have papa, paternal uncle, maternal uncle” they are proud of that. Instead of aloneness and despair, they get all the happiness of their childhood which is their right, they keep their heads up in the society and their mental improvement goes right. Another worth mentioning feature is that God has filled up the shyness and modesty so extremely in woman’s nature that if she gives it up, she gets emptied. And what power the woman has, its core is the same shyness and modesty. If she doesn’t ruin it, she gets so much endurance, intensity, confidence and power that she can go ahead and men may lag behind her in many fields. And if she destroys her core, she doesn’t have any existence except “the toy” of the perverted men’s hands of the society. The west gave much to the woman, in the field of medical and engineering, in information and technology, in science and research centers she got the place, obtained the higher posts in politics, but woman of the west had to pay worth valuables to get this all. The respect and chastity of that pity and poor had been snatched away from her. First of all she was asked to give the surety that she would hand her chastity over to them, only then the doors of progress are open for her otherwise they are closed at all. While Islam, firstly, takes the responsibility of woman’s respect, and creates a society in which the woman must be seen respectfully. “And those who launch a charge against chaste women, and produce not four witnesses (to support their allegations), - flog them with eighty stripes; and reject their evidence ever after: for such men are wicked transgressors” (Al Qur’an 24:4) Islam doesn’t seize woman from education nor from earning the money or to progress in any field. Muslim countries, ironically, didn’t make so much progress in science and technology since last century that they could open separate education and technical centers for men and women, in which woman could have got the opportunity to get education and to make progress, and they (Muslim countries) would have shown to the world that being in the purdah and behind the veil, a woman can do all which European woman does being nude. If they had done so, the western woman also would have rushed to them. But the west got this all before them; therefore the woman around the world, even Muslim woman, forgetting her most precious thing, wants to fly in the western stinking atmosphere. And, Sarkozy and his mates are persuading and threatening _______in both the tones______ that “if you don’t get undressed, we have nothing at all for you” It is one side of the coin, keeping it before, can be thought and pondered over the matter, and be made the arrangements that if a woman wants to progress, the paths should be paved and cleared for her to go ahead, and it is important also unto some limits. But the other side of woman’s personality is that her nature is fragile and delicate. If she toils with the men shoulder to shoulder, her womanhood will be in danger, her body, elegance, beauty and physics will be disturbed. Except this all, another important point here is that the product, needed to run the factory of human beings, is produced from woman. Therefore, if woman sticks at home and nurture her children, a good society gets shape. The children who get the training in the laps and hands of their mother, they learn manners, etiquettes, ethics and morals and become the firm foundation of the society’s establishment. When man enters, home having tired from his workplace, he finds each and everything in order in home, when children return home from their schools and colleges, they cling to their mother’s heart, a happy family is there, each member of the house is happy, what’s more man needs? Another point is there, the Islam has declared the home as woman’s sphere. How works, she does in home, she doesn’t get tired, and if she goes out of the home, she gets crushed tiresome. When a woman works in home, she does not get problem she can sit, lie, and sleep how she likes. But if she goes out to work, she has to face much problems like menstrual period, pregnancy, keeping her modesty secure etc. And the most important point is here that Allah has created man for test and has varied him in two parts, one is in the shape of man and the second in the shape of woman. Therefore the social spheres of both are different. The man has to give the bigger test in the field of man, and the woman has to give her bigger test in the field of woman. So one of the immense tests for a woman is, she should confine herself in home and keep secure her modesty and chastity. It is the act what’ll strongest for her salvation in the hereafter. 3. THEY ARE CUT OFF THE SOCIETY. In his point number three Sarkozy advocates that, if woman wears the Burqua she cuts off the social life. In a society, where woman lives naked, Sarkozy has brought up in that naked society. The question arises here, how come he has experienced that if a woman lives in purdah she cuts off the society? The truth is that if a woman lives in purdah she doesn’t cut off the society but she gets joined with the social life. Joined in the society doesn’t mean, each man of the colony and city should know woman by her face only then she’ll be considered joined in the society otherwise cut off. Which thing is there in the social activities that gets a halt by veiling woman’s face? And the place where necessary to unveil, the woman has been permitted to disclose her face and hands. But if Sarkozy thinks, by uncovering the head, showing the legs, disclosing the back and exposing the cleavage, a woman comes in the fold of the society, then Sarkozy must get his mind cured! Because no one, who has wisdom, can never admits that only by accepting nudity a woman joins the society otherwise she cuts off. Even though no one announces it, but it is crystal clear that every heart bears witness the women who keep themselves in purdah they are the respected and the modest women of the society. And those who expose their body and beauty they are the immoral and immodest women of the society. A woman that doesn’t get respected sight, will she get the place in a civilized society or the one that is seen disrespectfully. West and the apes of the west clearly deceive the woman saying that “if you don’t be naked, you will not be given the respect and status in the society!” However the truth is that making nude a woman, they themselves throw her from their respected sight. They do not look at such a woman but with the amorous and sexual sights. Have you ever experienced! A woman that comes amongst the man, exposing her body, she is ever called “Respected elder sister!” “Dear little sister!” Contrarily, everyone gaze her with amorous glances. Then how come, it could be a reality, the woman with whom everybody wants to sleep, gets a place of respect? And a disrespect woman will be more joined in the society or cut off? In a society where the entire women move freely, being nude, a purdah worn woman is made a sign of mockery; even then each heart bows down before her respectfully. When there are modest ladies in the society, families come in existence, a woman has hundreds of relatives, she joins in relations as wife, mother, sister, daughter, daughter in law, niece, aunty grand mother etc. on the other hand there is an immodest woman who does not have any family, it could easily be measured which woman of both will be nearer respectfully in the society. 4. THEIR IDENTITY IS HIDDEN. In his point number four Sarkozy says, if a woman wears Burqua her identity is hidden. By exposing her body, the identity a woman obtains, definitely that identity is hidden by wearing Burqua. If such an identity is hidden, it is favorable for a woman, because, exposing her body she gets an identity of “an immodest woman” and if such identity is hidden, it is good for not bad. In the name of games sports, modeling, heroin, miss world and miss universe a woman is made nude and said “it is the progress of woman’s a woman gets name and fame in the world, after her death people remember her in the history” and woman sets out to get name and fame. Then, this matter should also be probed and scrutinized minutely and properly. The man_______ whether man or woman_______ Allah has not created him that he should try to get, in his life and history, the name and fame like contemptible works. But the purpose of man’s creation is broadly high and very great. The angels have been lain in prostration before him, the sun, the moon, stars, animals, birds, rivers, lakes, mountains, sea like big things have been made submissive to him and given in his service, in this immense universe mans position is so, like one takes his finger out of the ocean after immersing it in the water, the water sticks around his finger, its his position and the water of ocean, universe’s position. But the each and everything exists in this entire universe, is for man’s service. The sun having more than 40, 00000 km circumference and 6000 degree Celsius with its temperature arises, from the east only to rip a grain, which man eats, he could move in the light of sun and make his livelihood properly, and when the time falls for sleeping he needs not to say switch off the light! Rather it hides itself in the west so that man may take his rest. The airs raising the salt water, making changed it into sweet water, bring in the shape of clouds and make arrange the water for man. The earth never says “Hey man! If you hit or plough in me, I will crush you.” But Almighty Allah has ordered her to be compatible and adapted, as man likes and let him work. And it is man only, who owns the entire treasure of the earth, no power like aliens and mutants is there that can snatch away the man’s treasury from him. It is the earth which takes him, rotating 40,000 km within 24 hours, and another 94,000 00 00 km so nice and beautiful long journey, it makes him travel, during which, man feels hot sometimes, sometimes he feels cold and sometimes he experiences the rain. If the man pays heed and thinks over the matter seriously, by God! He will dizzily fall out on the floor that if the owner of this entire factory comes out to take the account, what will happen? And the Islam lifts up the curtain from the same reality and tells the man that the Owner of this factory Who has put it in your service, will definitely take the account from you. Because you have not been left here in a state of wandering, nay you have been told, how you have to lead your life here, and how to use the worldly things, you are not the owner of these things, rather you are just needy of them, how much you need, take it but do not go beyond the boundaries. Because all these things, even your body and spirit have been held in your trust, belong to Allah, and you have to give the account for them all. And this account will be taken from man, because Allah has given the wisdom to the man, then given him the guidance to the right path by revealing the books and sending his messengers and put the options to choose, and told him that “if you walk on the prophet’s right path, you’ll get the peace and prosperity in the world and after your death paradise, and if you become the slave of your desires and lusts, I will not let you live with peace and calm in this world and the hell is prepared for you in the hereafter. And when man, meditating in the Qur’an, watches out the truth with the opened eyes, the intoxications of wealth, fame, puberty and kebab calm down. Then he is worrisome for only thing that he has to account for his life before the Being, Who is not an ordinary being but He is Micro and Minute and His clutch is very firm. Man’s nature is that he wants go higher, that’s why he considers getting the wealth, fame and status as his glory and dignity, in the world. But when the reality of his existence discloses before him, he ____according to his existence____ want to go higher and that is, Allah’s please, saving from hell, and getting the paradise.” When man recognizes his real being, the competitions and contests go on in virtues and goodwill, everyone wants that he should get the higher place in the Jannah. And if the man wants to get fame in the countable days of the worldly life, it means nothing but he does not pay heed towards his real being. If one has got the fame amongst the man like man, what did he get? It’s worth and valuable, when a bigger being than man appreciates him, and he is mentioned in the higher and purer assembly. It has been mentioned in the Ahadees (prophet’s traditions) that when a man works virtuously, Almighty mentions him in the assembly of angels. And another fact is that a person who gets the fame by gymnasiums, playing, dancing, singing and exposing the bodies, what is its position? He never pays attention towards it. And the reason of that, he is so drunkard and faint in the fame that he does not ever have a look seriously “what I am doing for the people?” If he gets conscious, he’ll know his own rotten value is nothing more than “the monkey” that jumps and dances on his master’s whistle and command, and entertains the people. In the world of morel, in the world of spiritualism, in the world of meditation and research such people do not get any respect. Before a teacher, a father, a religious scholar the man’s gaze lowers with as respect, these dancers, singers and players can never ever have that sight of respect even though they cut themselves into peaces. As far their fame, such contemptuous people are cheered up till, like them contemptuous people live around them. The civilized people never give them a sight of respect and in history they remain as prostitutes, brokers, jokers and entertainers. Right now the situation is the vision of angles is set upside down before the people. They are cheering and dancing unconsciously, just having the few drops of western culture, that’s why each and everything which is upright, they see it upside down and vice versa. While the westerners themselves, who have drunk the ocean above ocean of this naked culture, today want to be conscious, they do not find any way which brings their senses back except Islam. And that’s the thing which bothers Sarkozy and his masters. The people whom they had kept drunkard in their culture’s heaven for more than a century, today their senses are returning. And watching this situation, Sarkozy and his allies are becoming made. And in the state of madness they are murmuring “Buqua, beard, cap, terrorism, oh my woman, oh my man, everything has been slipped from our hands, the woman has been destroyed, her identity has been hidden………………….!” Concerning the identity, hidden by Burqua, another important remark is that the woman’s identity worn by Burqua does not hide but she is identified instead, that it is a Muslim woman. And Sarkozy does not want so, that in his country’s muddy culture and stinking civilization, any fragrant and melodious flower is seen laughing. The truth is that, it is the very thing which is most worrisome for the west that the sacred teachings of Islam have been danger for their culture and civilization. Amidst the education and awareness, they could not say to their people that “being blind and deaf, just listen to us and do not pay any heed on the teachings of Islam!” Therefore to stop the people from the teachings of Islam they are making notorious the Islam and the Muslims who lead their lives in Islamic colour. They want to form an acquaintance of true Muslims amongst the public. As soon as people hair the name of Islam and Muslims they should feel an abhorrence against them in their hearts, sometimes in the name of Burqua, in the name of beard, terrorism, ignorance, fundamentalism and any new symbol of Islam, known by public. The question arises why they want to keep alive their civilization? In fact the living style that west has embraced is not any civilization at all. But it is just a method to lead the life in which everybody is intoxicated. And leaving them intoxicated, some few cunning and wise minds robe their moral and character, their identity and existence, their peace and harmony. And put such invisible handcuffs and shackles on them that they forget the reality of their own being. And on any country of the world these cunning want to robe and loot they ask them to accept the same civilization and culture, and when the countrymen become faint, they loot them how they like. If each woman of the west becomes modest and starts living in purdah, the intoxication of voluptuary and sensuality from their heads will come down. And when each one will be conscious, how possibly, these cunning will robe the houses of the people, how come they will siphon the petrol off Arab countries, how come they will collect the gold from throughout the world, how come the cotton and silk's Factories will be established in their own countries, how come the sugar, wheat, rice will be swallowed up, how possibly their countries’ scrap will be sold in the world, how possibly, people will be made baggers by opening the interestfull banking and made the arrangements of luxurious equipments for themselves, from where will they bring the labors, from whom will they make spy, and how will those slaves and subjects come into existence on which the coin of the authority and rule is imposed and taken the taste of the power of influence? Actually, the west wants that “the system of living we have chosen we should always be living with that pomp and luxury and for that we must heap up the entire treasure of the world in our countries, so that we and our countries’ people (especially the white) may remain prosperous and happy forever.” Whereas The Almighty has created the man on the nature, if he abstains it he can never be prosper. That’s why as many crimes are committed in American and European countries, they don’t take place in other countries. In consequence of accepting this system of living, each one becomes the victim of tension, sexual diseases spread more than controllable, feelings of love, affection fraternity, sorority, respect of women, service of parents start decreasing, everyman wants to collect more and more money and attempts to manage all kind of material gains. The graph of ethics and morals goes down. And all the evils spread in the society as lying, backbiting, dishonesty, disloyalty, flattery, meanness, artifice, cunningness, pretending, selfishness, gainness, greediness, desireness, trickiness, cheating, fraudulence, treachery, faithlessness, deceive, unkindness, shamelessness, immodesty, sexuality, vulgarity, obscenity, ostentation, pretension, vanity, pride and many more. Finally the earth of Allah fills with pain and suffering, atrocity and wickedness, injustice and darkness, theft and robbing, murder and rape, torture and prosecution, riots and sabotage, violence and cruelty, threats and terrorism, extortion and usurpation, tyranny and oppression and for all these words the holy Qur’an uses the term as ‘ZULM’. Above And it’s not so that the people keep on filling the earth of Allah with ZULM and evils and perverting the system of that and Almighty Allah does not seize them. If the man keeps on doing that all and Allah’s wrath sustains for a span of time, it only means that Allah loosens His grip and give the chances to the people to get reconsider, introspect and repent their sins and deeds. And even then, if the man doesn’t get controlled, the wrath of Allah reaches such nations. The west should be gratitude and thankful towards the Muslims that they have conveyed the Allah’ massage to their countries, by that, millions of people embraced the Islam and gave up the filthy culture of the west. Otherwise, the west was going on the way, if it had been leading the same route, the wrath of Allah could have seized them. Because Almighty Allah does not tolerate the insurgency and transgression against Him in His earth. “Think not that Allah doth not heed the deeds of those who do wrong. He but giveth them respite against a Day when the eyes will fixedly stare in horror,-they running forward with necks outstretched, their heads uplifted, their gaze returning not towards them, and their hearts a (gaping) void! So warn mankind of the day when the Wrath will reach them: “Our Lord! Respite us (if only) for a short term: we will answer Thy Call, and follow the messengers!” “What! Were ye not wont to swear aforetime that ye should suffer no decline? And ye dwelt in the dwellings of men who wronged themselves ye were clearly shown how We dealt with them; and We put forth (many) Parables in your behoof!” Mighty indeed were the plots which they made, but their plots were (well) within the sight of Allah, even though they were such as to shake the hills! Never think that Allah would fail His messengers in His promise: for Allah is Exalted in Power, - The Lord of Retribution.
