the article is very interesting but teaching is not the right method to relate to children.....first we must relate to them and see what is that they want....the author is looking at the subject from her perspective.
thank you, Mangala
Baldev comments : Teaching relationship is not a very easy subject. Its teaching should be continual basis.Children have no idea as such.Their idea of relationship is based on cartoon character or the shows they watch. In order to correct their thinking we have to spend some time may be everyday. Do not give up ,idea of individual and individual family is the best with love.

Sunaina comments : Khurshid, I liked the subject being discussed by you in your article. I wish you had reflected more on how one can teach children to be different in their relations from what they see in their parents. I befit the sour relationship situation in your writing but I worry I am not of much help to teach my children to do better. You point out the problem appropriately but I am looking for better solutions from someone.

Wendee Byrne comments : Your article touches the very bone of society. We not only wish for social contact, we need social contact. How we chose to create that contact or see that contact will utlimately be what we teach. We teach through our everyday activities, reactions, impulses and beingness. As a teacher, mother, wife, daughter, friend...there are many forms of relating and how we chose to relate to one another within each relationship teaches our children. It sets a pattern. That does not mean we need to be, or stay, in every relationship, even if it is family, or marriage. Recognizing an unhealthy relationship is something everyone needs to learn, and something we learn everyday while we participate in a relationship. We must just try our best, and accept that we are all just human beings trying to learn how to relate to one another; hopefuly spontaneously well as well as with purpose and dedication in relating positively. Thank you for sharing your thoughts and getting me to search my own feelings and thoughts about how I relate. Getting me to examine the kind of relationship that feels healthy and those that are unhealthy and why that might be, was a nice gift Peace and love, Wendee
Monalisha comments : it was so refreshing to read about 'relationship'; how we relate to others. i have found that it is important to educate young people how to deal with difficult people, especially, because it can be very confusing as to what to do when others lack proper manners and deliberately take advantage of one's own good manners.
