Tour Melakarta has a nice "fiinish"! My question is this: Wikipeda has a Melakarta like yours, but they use your scale names as Raga names. Since Raga and Mela (scale) isn´t the same thing, who is right? As I understand the Mela cooresponding to a certain Raga does not necessarily have the same name as the Raga itself. Where can I read about wich Melas and Ragas belong to each other, their names included?
