Nivanthee comments : The article is so Interesting & Inspiring. I'm too impressed. U have changed my opinion about Dark skin. I rather started thinking may b dark skin is more attractive. thanks a ton..
Shakti Niranjchana comments : Wonderful. Love your writing style. Running after fair skin is the plague of India. I grew up in India with a brown skin maaniram in tamil . My mother and fair sister made me feel like an ugly duckling, saying oh we wish you were fair. It is after I came to canada that i realised the beauty of that skin. After getting stopped by a lot of people and being complimented on how gorgeous i looked and if i was a model , i realised that beauty is not color based. I am proud to be a beautiful brown girl and i honestly do not want to be lighter. I love my skin tone. Shakti author penguin books

Megha comments : Hello. As a 22yr old girl growing up with a beautiful fair mother, and a perfectly fair sister in law, I understand the rathe of being "not as fair". My friends are all fair, and continually talk about fair being pretty..is that the case? Girls check out other girls not in what they are wearing but rather the fairness of thier skin..All this leads to me asking is "has the female indian population gone completley mad?" Who the hell cares if the skin is a prestine glowing white colour, and the rest of you is as attractive as the back of a bus? I think that being healthy, in control and educated with morals and having strong beliefs make you a beautiful person....unless you look like Aishwiriya Rai...then u really know god is smiling on u..
