PIERRE FRANCIS comments :
Anjana Basu, in her review of Nisha da Cunha's recent output of short stories mentions that short stories are harder to write than novels. I beg to differ. While in short stories, the focus is more sharper on theme, plot and character, the novel demands all this - not to mention a commitment to travel long haul. I have written (and published) quit a few short stories. I still write them, with a view to publishing them in a collection. But I have a novel in mind, too - and that really scares the hell out of me.

Mud comments :
I was hoping you could help me find some of Nisha da Cunha's short stories online, particularly Mama's Boy. Your help would be much appreciated.
